Grandma is doing so much better since Thanksgiving. We are really praying she will be with us through the holidays and are making a collective effort to get her really excited about Christmas. Tonight my part of the effort was to put up a little purple Christmas tree in her room (purple is her favorite color). I’ve also donated the wreaths from a painting class earlier this week to the cause - and added holiday hand sanitized from Bath and Body Works as well as a snowman night light with bubbling glitter action for good measure. Her eyes started to light up a little and I asked her what she was most excited about for Christmas. Her response? “That all my children are going to be here and we’re all going to get along and love each other and be one family.” that is my Christmas wish for my Grandma, so please say a little prayer that it happens.
